In my opinion this skirt is made for warmth. It is indeed thicker, but soft inside and out. It will be especially warm for cooler fall days as well as cold winter days like we have here in Canada. Completely non see-through with a velvety look that resists wrinkling up.

I love this skirt!

The skirt has a lovely, flattering shape, and is also very soft and comfortable to wear. I’m wearing it over thick tights or over Grizas leggings, and it’s as comfortable as wearing soft trousers. It has pockets - which is always an advantage. I haven’t worn it for anything smart yet, but with the right top I could. A great piece!
